Contribute in transforming Sudan’s ICT sector in order to play a central role to enable Sudan to become a Knowledge Society (1), by developing a sustainable national Digital Economy (2), through capitalizing on Sudan’s resources, Human Capital. ICT as a key catalyst to achieve an accelerated and inclusive socio-economic transformation for Sudan
(1) Knowledge Society: Is based on the vast increase in data creation and information dissemination that results from the innovation of information technologies. A knowledge society promotes human rights and offers equal, inclusive, and universal access to all knowledge creation.
(2) Digital Economy: The digital economy refers to a broad range of economic activities that use digitized information and knowledge as key factors of production. The internet, cloud computing, big data, FinTech, and other new digital technologies are used to collect, store, analyze, and share information digitally and transform social interactions. The digitization of the economy creates benefits and efficiencies as digital technologies drive innovation and fuel job opportunities and economic growth. The digital economy also permeates all aspects of society, influencing the way people interact and bringing about broad sociological changes
